Option 1: Print Membership Form and mail with your check. (See address below or on Membership Form.)
Option 2: Use your credit card with PayPal. (See PayPal option below.)
MEMBERSHIP
Any citizen over 18, male or female may become a voting member of the League. When you join our local League, you become a local, state and national member of LWV and receive communications from all groups. For information on scholarships, please contact membership@lwvodc.org.
Membership dues are:

$55 for one membership
$82.50 for two members of the same household
$30 for Associate membership for students or non-citizens

The League fiscal year is July 1-June 30. Members joining for the first time after January 1st pay half the dues until renewal notices are received in late Spring.
To pay your membership by Option 1:
Please make check out to: LWVODC OR League of Women Voters of Orange, Durham and Chatham. Dues are not tax deductible. Additional contributions are welcome and essential and can be included on the check with your membership dues.

CONTRIBUTIONS
Contributions are an important source of support for our League

Non-tax deductible contributions can be included with your membership dues on your check.
Contributions to our education fund are tax deductible. This check should be made payable to LWV CEF.

Pay Your Membership, Donations, and Tax-Deductible Donations Online

You may use PayPal to pay membership dues online. Please indicate in the notes box on the payment screen whether this is a renewal or a new membership. Thanks!
Single Membership: $55.00: for one membership
Two Memberships in the Same Household: $82.50: for two members of the same household
Associate Membership $30.00: for students or non-citizens
You do not need to have a PayPal account to donate to the League.

Non Tax-Deductible Donations. These donations support the LWVODC's action priorities.
Tax-Deductible Contributions to the LWV Citizen Education Fund.
The Citizen Education Foundation (CEF) is the 501(c) (3) citizen education and research arm of the League of Women Voters of North Carolina. CEF provides research, publications, and forums on public policy issues. It can be used to disseminate information and provide training to help citizens be thoughtfully engaged in the democratic process. It can also help pay per member payments to support the LWVUS educational work. CEF funds may be used only for educational activities, not for advocacy or action.
