Staffed Collecton Centers

Residents must display a current WMD decal in order to use any of the collection centers. Call 542-5516 to obtain a decal.

Cole Park, Pittsboro, Boniee, and Siler City are open from 7-7 on Wed

Martha's Chapel - 387-5843 (closed Wed.) 24 Gardner Road, at intersection with Martha's Chapel Rd.
Moncure - 542-7298 (closed Wed.) 2855 Old US 1, just east of Corinth Rd.
Pittsboro - 545-0640 (open Wed.) 180 Martin Luther King Jr. Road, behind Food Lion.
Siler City East - 663-5990 (open Wed.) 135 Silk Hope Road, just north of intersection with Hwy 64.
County Waste Management Facility - 542-5516 (no trash collection) 720 County Landfill Road, off US 64 approximately 6 miles west of Pittsboro. Office hours: M-F, 7-4. (Administrative Offices, Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center, Land-Clearing and Inert Debris Landfill, Mulch Sales, Compost Bin Sales)

Swap Shops are located at each collection center for usable but unwanted items.

Items that are usable but no longer wanted may be donated to the following locations:
