WEAR ORANGE for Gun Violence Awareness Day
  • Chapel Hill Wears Orange on June 2, 2016 Mayors and other elected officials and Moms Demand Action Orange County came together in support of Gun Violence Awareness Day to hoist an orange flag, hear from local leaders and take selfies.

* Attending Chapel Hill "Wear Orange" event from the League were Marion and Howard Diamond, Brenda Rogers and Kate Torrey, our action team leader.

  • Durham Wears Orange on June 2, 2016 This Triangle-wide event was held in support of Gun Violence Awareness Day. There was a selfie-style photo booth, singing of the Katy Perry tune "Roar" with Amelia Shull of PopUp Chorus and then everyone walked to Durham's Bull statue and admired the orange-lit buildings along the way.
